# Access the camera from Mobotix Live app

**MOBOTIX LIVE App Compatibility**

The **MOBOTIX LIVE App** supports **MOBOTIX IoT cameras** using the **EventStream protocol**. It does **not** support the **ONVIF protocol** , which is used by **MOBOTIX MOVE cameras**.

If you are using a **MOBOTIX MOVE camera** , we recommend one of the following VMS solutions along with their corresponding smartphone apps:

### [MOBOTIX Cloud](https://www.mobotix.com/en/products/mobotixcloud)

- **Fast & simple setup** – add cameras and access them from anywhere.
- **No local server installation required**.
- Ideal for users who prefer **ease of use** and are comfortable with a **monthly subscription**.

### [MOBOTIX HUB](https://www.mobotix.com/en/vms/mobotix-hub)

- For users who prefer to **set up and manage everything locally**.
- Offers **extensive integration options** and **scalability**.
- Requires a **one-time license payment**.

You can choose between:

- **Cloud** : Monthly subscription, easy setup, remote access.
- **HUB** : One-time payment, full control, advanced integrations.

### MOVE Camera Compatibility with Cloud

Depending on your MOVE camera model, it may already support **[Direct to Cloud](https://community.mobotix.com/t/direct-to-cloud-introduction/6635)**.  
Please check the _[\*firmware release notes](https://www.mobotix.com/en/software-downloads)_\* of your camera to confirm.  
If supported, now might be the perfect time to start with **[MOBOTIX Cloud VMS](https://youtu.be/f_EMr-VSuh4)**.
