# Enable/Disable recording command

Hello,

what would be the command to enable or disable the recording on the camera? I tried this, but doesn’t work.  
http://camera\_ip/control/control?list&section=recording/recording\_activ=enable

Hello!

Here is the link which works for me:  
[http://username](http://username):password@camera\_ip/control/control?set&section=recording&recording\_activ=enable

I added the username and password but it is not necessary
