# How to reset MxAnalytics Data as a Time Task

You can reset the MxAnalytics data with the following API Command:

`http://Camera-IP/control/stat_export?function=reset`

The IP Notify Profile will look like:

Ensure you test the profile in Admin Menu \> Test Current Network Configuration

You will then have to add this to a Time Task (Admin Menu \> Time Task)

It is key to note that you will have to reboot the camera before it takes effect. Therefore the recommendation is that you set the time task to trigger then IP Notify 5 minutes before the scheduled reboot of the camera. This will give it time to carry out the reset process, which does occur immediately.
