It is possible to automate the switching of Start Recording Events based on time using IP Notify profiles and Time Task. Here’s how - (for this example the customer asked how to start recording with AS and VM Events only between 06:00 and 17:00 and, with button push (doorbell) 24/7. I use the UC Event in this example in place of the doorbell) -\> Set up two IP Notify profiles under \>Admin \>Transfer Profiles \>IP Notify Profiles First profile for Start Recording Events AS, VM, and UC Name the profile: (e.g. IP-Notify AS\_VM\_UC) Destination Address: localhost:80 Data Protocol/Transfer protocol HTTP/1.0 Request Data Protocol/CGI Path: /control/control Data Protocol/HTTP Authentication: loginname:password Data Type/Notification Data: plain text Data Type/Message: set§ion=recording&recording\_activ=enable&recording=streaming\_event&recstartevents=IMA,AS;IMA,VM;SIG,UC Second profile will be for Start Recording Events UC Name the profile: (e.g. IP-Notify UC) Destination Address: localhost:80 Data Protocol/Transfer protocol HTTP/1.0Request Data Protocol/CGI Path: /control/control Data Protocol/HTTP Authentication: loginname:password Data Type/Notification Data: plain text Data Type/Message: set§ion=recording&recording\_activ=enable&recording=streaming\_event&recstartevents=SIG,UC Both of these commands can be sent to the camera from a web browser for testing using the url - [http://CameraIP/control/control?set§ion=recording&recording\_activ=enable&recording=streaming\_event&recstartevents=IMA,AS;IMA,VM;SIG,UC](http://CameraIP/control/control?set§ion=recording&recording_activ=enable&recording=streaming_event&recstartevents=IMA,AS;IMA,VM;SIG,UC) [http://CameraIP/control/control?set§ion=recording&recording\_activ=enable&recording=streaming\_event&recstartevents=SIG,UC](http://CameraIP/control/control?set§ion=recording&recording_activ=enable&recording=streaming_event&recstartevents=SIG,UC) The full list of parameters available can be found in the help file of the camera under Remote-Controlling the MOBOTIX Camera. Use the pull down to select the IP notify profile for IP-Notify AS\_VM\_UC Set the time to send as - 0 Minutes 6 Hours - Days of Month - Months - Week Days The second Time Task is to set Start Recording Events UC using the IP-Notify profile created above.
