# MOBOTIX NAS - Default password has changed after upgrade

# **Password reset**

**Initial situation:**  
Password “ **mym** ” no longer works.

After **upgrading** a MOBOTIX NAS to a **current QTS firmware** from QNAP, please note that for security reasons the default password has been individualised (MAC address of the device or cloud key) and is no longer “ **mym** ”.  
This increases the security of your system!
