# Quick Auto Configuration Check

A quick way to check if the Auto Configuration was properly done and completed, is to look in the camera configuration file.

There search for

> SECTION autoconfig\_db  
> ![section auto](https://canada1.discourse-cdn.com/flex030/uploads/mobotix/original/2X/a/a404b9f332356bc97a41cf86883a3809388d3778.jpeg)

If this section is empty or not exist, that means that the Auto Configuration isnt done or not finished properly.
