# Send Thermal Dashboard - Treshold alarms and / or thermal values (CSV) by email

# Thermal Dashboard

In MxMC version 2.9, the [Thermal Dashboard function](https://community.mobotix.com/t/mxmc-version-2-8-thermal-dashboard-eng/7325) (separate licence), which has been available since MxMC version 2.8, has been extended so that the recorded temperature values can be regularly sent to the user as a CSV by email if the thermal threshold value is exceeded or for further processing.

### Email result due to a thermal threshold value being exceeded:

The user can tick the box in the threshold value configuration for sending an “Alarm” email; this allows an alarm email to be sent if the threshold value is exceeded.

> **Important:** The menu items for sending emails only appear if an email account has been created and activated in the MxMC settings/preferences.

### Cyclical email with thermal data as CSV attachment:

For cyclical emails, e.g. once a day, the corresponding interval must be set in the header of the Thermal Dashboard in edit mode.

This causes the MxMC to send the thermal data from all displayed  
Thermal Graphs of the selected (send peridoc Email) Thermal Dashboard.

### Prerequisites

- MxMC version 2.9 or newer
- MxMC Thermal Dashboard licence activated
- MOBOTIX Thermal camera integrated
- Email account is set up for such specific applications (no email programme), is often combined with two-factor authentication or has been linked under the term Activate legacy mode for apps.
- Active internet connection
