Hi
I have a D15D camera that is not working and I get this message in System Messages:
“failed to spawn unirecfs filesystem server with the call /usr/sbin/unirecfsmount_path=/var/www/server/vol/unirec,includeArchive=no”

Hello Cyrus,

This error message probably indicates an unavailable / incorrectly configured file server.
To better localise the error, the following steps are advisable:

  • What does the file server test button say?

  • Fileserver itself accessible?

  • Are other cameras storing on it?

  • Change NFS ↔ CIFS, possibly protocol problem with the server

  • Support ticket with report file for further analysis would be necessary…
