MxMC 2.5.2 - New Features

The September release of MxMC 2.5.2 includes the following new features:

Automatic sending of the health check report via email.
The health check can now run several times a day (e.g. every 4 hours) in the background and sends the report via email with detailed information!

IMPORTANT: Background Alarm must be activated for each camera in the MxMC, otherwise the email report will show that the cameras are not accessible!

The Healthcheck takes all IoT cameras out of the ALL cameras group and filters all non-IoT cameras out of the check.
A video about the new function is available at the following link:

Softbutton extension:
Two important things have been changed here.

The configuration of the softbuttons is clearly arranged in the “Component View”!
There is an abundance of predefined Http/Https API commands for various MOBOTIX products as well as some third-party systems, which makes using the softbuttons much easier!
No more searching for the right command in the API help!

We have predefined API commands for the following products:

  • MOBOTIX IoT Cameras
  • MOBOTIX MOVE
  • MxMC
  • MxThinClient
  • External devices like: PatLite, Kentix and Loxon

Improvement Exporting the configuration for the MOBOTIX Live App
Users can export the MxMC configuration for the MOBOTIX Live APP.
In addition to the camera settings, the export contains the:

Camera grids (up to 25 cameras per grid → the first 25 cameras of the grid are exported).
Softbuttons (the first 12 softbuttons of the MxMC).
The import of these new settings into the Live APP will be supported with the next MOBOTIX Live APP version 2.6 (October 21)!

The company PatLite demonstrates in the demo video how the PatLite products can be wonderfully combined with the MOBOTIX system.
On the one hand, the P7 camera platform (M73) with its “onBoard” apps is used to detect the situation precisely, and on the other hand, the optical and acoustic alarm is triggered via the PatLite Signal Tower (NHV4). At the same time, the live image is displayed in the MxMC and shows the operator the current situation.

Two cases are shown in the following video:

  1. alarm when there is an intruder in the building
  2. detection of employees who have collapsed in the warehouse due to an accident or sudden illness.
