Installing MxMC on Linux with Wine
Wine is neither an emulator nor a virtualisation solution. The project has set itself the task of recreating the Windows environment, including all the necessary libraries for Windows software. It allows the MOBOTIX MxMC to be installed on a Linux environment. These instructions show this step by step.
Disclaimer
MOBOTIX AG officially offers MxMC only for the Windows and Mac operating systems. The use with Wine is an alternative for all users who are familiar with Linux and the limitations of Wine. Support requests can therefore not be handled by MOBOTIX AG.
In the MOBOTIX community, however, this is a welcome contribution that will find its supporters!
