is it possible to use the iPhone as a key inserted of the keycards from the BellRFID?
I read this, thought “would be cool”. And then googled it:
You can use [] phones as RFID readers for sure but not as Tags!
Basic principle here is to have unique IDs to be able to retrieve when read/scanned. When we talk about Tags they come with unique IDs. Whereas, in smart phone we can consider using IMEI as unique but retrieval of the same is not possible via scanning. Also, when security comes into picture then it becomes a problem. One cannot easily give their IMEI numbers.
