MOBOTIX M1A-S Firmware

I see there is a new firmware for the 9 series Dual Camera. But is this firmware (9.2) for the 8 series too? It seems like it is. But I am asking for clarification to make sure this is the case.

Follow-up question if the 9.2 fw is for the MOBOTIX M1A-S: Does this make the MOBOTIX M1A-S an 8 series (with a 9 series firmware) or a 9 series?

Hello BenAir,

These firmware versions are not compatible.

If you attempt to upload the wrong firmware, you will receive the following error message:

“Wrong Lead-In”

Note: During the upload process, the camera automatically verifies whether the firmware matches the device model. If it does not, the upload will be rejected. After this message, the correct firmware can be uploaded without any issue.

→ intended for Mx-ONE-M1A-S
