In some cases the installation can fail and you can see the following message in the installer log:

Troubleshooting:
Please try to, create a local user, and add this local user in SQL as Sysadmin, and give this user admin, and IIS rights.
Then please execute the MOBOTIX HUB installer with this local user, and also use the same local user as service account when asked. For this you need to select Custom installation not Typical
If you wish to use an AD User, then make sure that it is configured as stated above.
Put this User into the SQL Role: Sysadmin
