MOBOTIX is not able to tell exactly which Axis camera models are supported by MxMC; however, the rule of thumb to check the compatibility is to verify whether or not the camera can deliver a M-JPEG stream when the following URL is requested:
http(s)://ip_camera/axis-cgi/mjpg/video.cgi?camera=1
Note: replace “ip_camera” with the IP address of your Axis camera
You can easily give it a try with your browser; type the URL above on the URL bar and check the result.
If the camera responds with a M-JPEG stream, everything is fine.
For the PTZ models it’s important that the camera supports at latest API v3.0.
