MOBOTIX has discovered a compatibility issue where recent Microsoft Windows Up-dates may break communication between the MOBOTIX HUB Management Server service and Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS), a required dependency. This can result in MOBOTIX HUB VMS becoming non-functional.
Symptoms:
After installation of Microsoft Windows Updates KB5066835 and KB5065789, the following behavior was be noticed in some installations:
- MOBOTIX HUB Management Server service will not start
- Inability to login to MOBOTIX HUB Management Client or MOBOTIX HUB Desk Client

Root Cause:
Our development team has identified the cause as an error in Microsoft’s implementation of the HTTP/2 protocol. To resolve the issue, customers can do the following:
- Uninstall the following Windows updates:
- KB5066835
- KB5066131
- KB5064401
- KB5065789
- Restart the operating system after uninstalling the software.
