It is possible to automate the switching of Start Recording Events based on time using IP Notify profiles and Time Task.
Here’s how -
(for this example the customer asked how to start recording with AS and VM Events only between 06:00 and 17:00 and, with button push (doorbell) 24/7. I use the UC Event in this example in place of the doorbell)
-> Set up two IP Notify profiles under >Admin >Transfer Profiles >IP Notify Profiles
First profile for Start Recording Events AS, VM, and UC
Name the profile: (e.g. IP-Notify AS_VM_UC)
Destination Address: localhost:80
Data Protocol/Transfer protocol HTTP/1.0 Request
Data Protocol/CGI Path: /control/control
Data Protocol/HTTP Authentication: loginname:password
Data Type/Notification Data: plain text
Data Type/Message: set§ion=recording&recording_activ=enable&recording=streaming_event&recstartevents=IMA,AS;IMA,VM;SIG,UC
Second profile will be for Start Recording Events UC
Name the profile: (e.g. IP-Notify UC)
Destination Address: localhost:80
Data Protocol/Transfer protocol HTTP/1.0Request
Data Protocol/CGI Path: /control/control
Data Protocol/HTTP Authentication: loginname:password
Data Type/Notification Data: plain text

Both of these commands can be sent to the camera from a web browser for testing using the url -

Go to >Admin >Camera Administration >Time Tasks
The first Time Task is to set Start Recording Events AS, VM, and UC using the IP-Notify profile created above.
Use the pull down to select the IP notify profile for IP-Notify AS_VM_UC
Set the time to send as -
0 Minutes - 6 Hours - * Days of Month - * Months - * Week Days
The second Time Task is to set Start Recording Events UC using the IP-Notify profile created above.
Use the pull down to select the IP notify profile for IP-Notify UC
Set the time to send as -
0 Minutes - 17 Hours - * Days of Month - * Months - * Week Days
Set, Close and Ok to save the settings

Richten Sie zwei IP-Notify-Profile unter >Admin >Übertragungsprofile >IP-Notify-Profile ein.
Erstes Profil für die Aufzeichnungsauslöser AS, VM und UC
Benennen Sie das Profil: (z. B. IP-Notify AS_VM_UC)

Wählen Sie über das Dropdown-Menü das IP-Notify-Profil für „IP-Notify UC“ aus.
Legen Sie den Zeitpunkt für den Versand fest auf:
0 Minuten - 17 Stunden - Tage im Monat - Monate - * Wochentage
Klicken Sie auf „Festlegen“, „Schließen“ und „OK“, um die Einstellungen zu speichern.
