With the new MOBOTIX HUB Thermal Dashboard version, we are expanding the dashboard with an additional display element that shows the temperature values digitally. This enables the user to directly read the actual temperature values in addition to the graphical temperature curve.
In the new version, it is possible to display the current temperature data of the camera measurement windows as “digital values” like a measuring instrument display. This is then in addition to the display of the temperature curve of the measurement windows.
The following temperatures are displayed:
- Current temperature value (updated every second)
- The highest temperature measured in the measurement window in the past.
- The lowest temperature measured in the measurement window in the past.
The Video shows the usage of the Gauge Display feature:
Click on the value to jump to the time of the recording. If the playback is played, the temperature values recorded at this time are also shown in the digital measuring instrument display.
Several visualisations are available in the playback:
- Play the playback stream
- The graphical temperature curve
- The digital display with the recorded temperature values
If the temperature threshold is exceeded, the display is highlighted in colour. This temperature alarm remains on until it has been confirmed by the user.
The value of one or more measurement windows can be shown in one display. This is analogue to the previous operating concept of the graphical temperature curves.
Colour assignment of the HotSpot Areas:
The HotSpot Areas are highlighted according to the colours set for the digital measured values or the thermal graphs.
The previous Thermal Dashboard functions are described in detail here.
Basic requirement:
- MOBOTIX HUB VMS
- MOBOTIX HUB PlugIn Thermal Dashboard for XProtect
- MOBOTIX Thermal Radiometry camera (latest Firmware)
Important key points of the configuration:
Camera:
- General arming active
- Thermal Event (Thermal Measuring window) configured and activated
- Correct time (NTP time server)
- ONVIF activated in the camera (Admin-> Integration Protocol)
MOBOTIX HUB:
- One of the following camera drivers in use:
- MOBOTIX IOT Driver
- MOBOTIX M/D/VS Driver
- MxPEG stream in use (no thermal data available without MxPEG)
- Recording activated (no recorded thermal data without active recording in HUB)
- In the Management Client the Thermal Graphs must be ACTIVATED ’ by enable it or in the new version the user who is to use the function must be specified, as this is deactivated in the default setting!
