Some users reported a problem with the firmware update of MxThinClient.
The error message above is caused by an expired certificate on the firmware file (.mpl).
Below you can find the procedure to workaround the problem and perform the update:
- Set the local date/time of the MxThinClient to a date on or before the 8th of May 2018
- Perform the SW update to V1.1.0.3
- Reset the date/time to correct values again
Remark: The date/time reset has to be done by setting the date/time of the connected PC and the using the button “Synchronize with local time” in the MxThinClient’s dialog “System Information → Device time, hardware and release information”
