If you connect the camera, Power Emergency Mode may be active under certain circumstances. This means that you will not see a live image, but a warning message and the camera will only be operational to a very limited extent. This can happen, for example, if the camera has been stored for a long time before it is unpacked and connected.
If this is the case, do the following to cancel the Power Emergency Mode:
- Leave the camera connected to a power supply for at least 5 days
- Then reset the system time ( Set and Close )
- Disconnect the power supply
If the emergency power mode is no longer active, please change the POE class from 2 to 3. Please note that you must interrupt the power supply again (only necessary if additional modules - e.g. IO module - are connected to the camera).
If the emergency power mode remains active, the camera may need to be sent in and the battery replaced. Before doing so, however, a camera report (http://IPderKamera/admin/report.dmp) should be generated and sent to “ support@mobotix.com”.
