M73 camera (all P7 cameras) are shown as OFFLINE after being added

If cameras of the P7 Family with the current firmware version 7.3.2.76 are newly integrated into the Cloud, the camera first appears as offline in the Cloud Dashboard.

The user must activate the MJPEG codec as the second video codec in the camera.

The Cloud uses two video streams for display and recording:

• H.264 for HiRes display and event recording (Full Video Recording).
• MJPEG for low-res preview and background recording (Preview Recording).

As soon as the MJPEG stream is activated in the camera, the camera appears in the cloud dashboard as online after approx. 30 seconds and can be fully used in the cloud.

Configuration steps. 1:

1. display the camera in the Cloud Dashboard via the satellite icon
   

   

2. Switch to the Admin menu of the camera and open the submenu Integration Protocols.
   3.Open the Encoder Settings section.
   

   

4.Set the video encoder 1 to MJPEG.

5. Press Set (wait briefly) and press Close to permanently save the setting.
6. After approx. 30 seconds, the cameras appear in the Cloud Dashboard as online and can be used in the Cloud without restrictions.
