The c ONE NurseAssist licensing model is designed to be modular, flexible and easy to plan. Partners can choose the required core functionality, add further capabilities when needed and select a subscription term that fits the customer’s project.

Three License Levels
NurseAssist Basic License
The Basic License is required for every c ONE NurseAssist deployment and includes:
- Fall Detection
- Person In Bed
- Person Not In Bed
- Situation Normal
- MOBOTIX Management Center and MOBOTIX HUB integration
- Third-party nurse call system integration
NurseAssist Extended License
The Extended License is an add-on for advanced monitoring scenarios. It includes:
- Distinction between a person lying or sitting on the floor
- Person Sitting On The Edge Of The Bed
- Person Out Of Bed
- Person In Bathroom
- Person Out Of Room
- Person Entering The Room
- Person Getting Up From Chair
- Person Getting Up In Bed
- Missing Bed
A valid Basic License is required.
NurseAssist Lying Position License
The Lying Position License is an add-on for bed-focused monitoring and provides:
- Detection of no changes in the resident’s lying position within a certain amount of time
A valid Basic License is required.
Supported License Combinations
The licenses can be combined according to the required care scenario:
- Basic
- Basic + Extended
- Basic + Lying Position
- Basic + Extended + Lying Position
Add-on functionality can also be purchased and activated later.
Flexible Subscription Terms
All NurseAssist license products are available with subscription terms from 1 to 5 years.
Every subscription includes an additional 4-week Grace Period. For example, a three-year license remains valid for three years plus four weeks.
The Grace Period helps cover the time between license activation, installation and final commissioning at the customer site.
How Renewals Work
A renewal license can be activated on the sensor while the current license is still valid.
Each license is ordered with a defined start date. To ensure uninterrupted operation, select the day after the current license expires as the start date of the new license.
Example:
- Current license expires: 31 August 2031
- New license starts: 1 September 2031
Overlapping license activation is technically possible, but it is not required for a seamless transition.
License periods are not accumulated. Every license always runs from its selected start date for the ordered subscription term.
What Happens During a License Gap?
The NurseAssist configuration remains stored on the sensor even if there is a temporary gap between two licenses.
Once a valid license is activated again, the existing configuration remains available and does not need to be recreated.
