we have around 150 Mobotix cameras currently recording in NFS on different QNAPs
the current NFS version on the QNAP is V2/3, but this does not guarantee data encryption during recording.
Is it possible to configure the cameras (versions 5,6,7) in NFS v4?
Unfortunately I haven’t seen any topics on this subject.
If this isn’t possible, is there another way to record video securely with Mobotix cameras?
SMB is not viable either as it is not possible to use a version prior to SMB v3 on QNAPs.
NFS v4 is not supported by our IOT Cameras (5,6,7)!
SMB V3.02 is supported with the latest SW of the cameras and is supported for cameras Models P6 and P7. The Cameras Models x5 not supporting the SMP V3.02.
The QNAP NAS support as well the SMB V3.02 with the latest QNAP QTS Version.
