T24 USB connection for arduino/esp32

hello,

this seems to be a strange question but I need to connect a microcontroller near the door where a T24 is installed (for additional independent sensors). There are no “power lines” available and I prefer not to use a battery pack as source, but I see an USB connection on the T24. Can I take power from there? Maybe one day I get lucky :stuck_out_tongue:

Hello @sledgehammer,

the USB Output only supports USB1.0 for Mx-USB Devices or USB-Sticks or other USB-Flash-Devices.

When using our USB-Cable this could be working but we don’t have tested other devices.

When you are using for example a USB-HDD this HDD needs an external power supply.

I can not say if your microcontroller will work on the USB interface of the T24
