How to reset MxBus modules

For a procedure explaining the reset and the reconfiguration of a complete doorstation installation, please see How to reset the Door Station and MxBus modules.

If you want to reinstall the MxBus modules (e.g. when doing a new autoconfiguration or when swapping MxBus modules from one camera to another), it is mandatory to factory reset the modules before configuring them.

In general, the reset is always done by short-circuiting the factory reset pins while MxBus power is connected to the modules.

Keep the factory reset pins short-circuited until three short beeps are followed by a longer one. This pattern indicates that the process is complete. At the same time both LEDs of the module flash green at regular intervals, indicating that the process is complete.
