I have lost or forgotten my password. What can i do?
The default user and password for a MOBOTIX camera is
user : admin
password : meinsm
It is recommended that you change the password the first time you access your camera to secure the access to the configuration and recordings.
Note that once the password has been changed there is no way to recover it in case of forgetfulness. MOBOTIX has not way to access your password as there are no backdoors in our cameras.
For security reasons the camera’s password can only be reset by MOBOTIX
Therefore if you forget or lose your camera password please contact your installer/distributor to start an RMA process. They will require the camera’s factory ip address which can be found on a sticker to process the RMA.
